Congratulations Nikita!
Having completed her Part III at the University of Westminster with Distinction, Nikita reunited with her friends and fellow students to celebrate their graduation.
The event took place at The Royal Festival Hall in London. The modernist architecture proved to be the perfect backdrop for the sunny, afternoon photoshoot.
Nikita completed her undergraduate at the University of Cape Town with Distinction and thereafter worked at Noero Architects (SA) and Haworth Tompkins (UK). She lived in Germany for two years while studying an M.Sc. Masters in Architecture (Typology) at the Technische Universität Berlin.
Here at Tate+Co, Nikita is working across a number of projects including the new garden in The Regent’s Park, London. The project, which includes the re-imagination of a redundant water tower as a lookout platform, the creation of a new pergola and the refurbishment of the existing public facilities, recently received planning approval from Camden Council Planning Authority.
The two-acre garden will commemorate the life of Queen Elizabeth II and, once complete, will turn a disued area of this famous park into a biodiverse space that will communicate the concept of natural resilience in our changing climate. Set to open in 2026, it will mark what would have been the late Queen’s centenary year.
