Tate Harmer is proud to be part of the half-term exciting programme for children to play, learn and explore architecture together at the RIBA.
The workshops are to teach the basic architectural principles, with our focus on perspective by making, building and drawing. The children are encouraged to explore and use their imagination with the help of the Tate Harmer team, on-hand to guide them on ways to draw different architectural elements, whilst considering the different perspectives.
The children were taken through a series of varied activities from looking at the Sam Jacob exhibition, 3D model making, drawing workshops to look at forced perspective as well as walks in and around London streets to give the children a true sense of every ‘perspective’.
