We are really thrilled to announce that we have been shortlisted to the final three in a competition to transform West Hendon Playing Fields, turning it into a more accessible and inclusive sports and community park. The competition is being run by Barnet Council who own and manage the site and the Landscape Institute. The team is led by Ove Arup and Partners and, as well at us, includes Tim O’Hare Associates (Soil Consultants), the Sensory Trust (Access Consultants) and Haley Sharpe Design (Wayfinding and Interpretation). It has been such an incredible design journey so far understanding how as designers we can help make London’s incredible green and blue infrastructure a true community and natural asset. We now have all of our fingers crossed for the final result of the competition.
