Building Design has published an article by Jerry Tate, celebrating the Lingotto Building in Turin, Italy. First designed by Matte Trucco in 1916-1923, refurbished by Renzo Piano 1983-2002, with a rooftop garden completed in 2021 by Benedetto Camerana and Il Giardino Sebreto.
“The Lingotto building in Turin (the former Fiat Factory) is both a structural tour de force as well as a fantastic example of how to keep and re-use our existing built environment.”
