We’ve submitted plans for a sustainable development of 150 new homes and 100,000m2 of workspace for mainly bio-tech businesses around the Esholt waste water treatment works for Yorkshire Water & sister company Keyland Developments.
The development forms part of the Esholt Positive Living proposal. It’s been billed as ‘one of the country’s leading sustainable industrial and residential developments’ and will be powered by the heat, power and water generated from the still-operational sewage facilities.
We’ll be developing unused land around the waste water treatment works – the amount of land in use by the plant has reduced significantly recently thanks to technological advances.
